A.A. West is an American writer now living in Italy. He spent years as a Silicon Valley fixer, helping people navigate the complicated mess of building things. Regulatory tangles, investor pressure, media noise, political landmines.

Then he got tired of solving other people’s problems and started asking what an actual good life looks like after you’ve won.
